DESCRIPTION:
Vincenti & Cie, Paris, France for A. Fiocati, Berlin, Germany, miniature tall clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven diminutive pendule de Paris movement in a lyre-form case with tortoise shell veneer and applied ormolu mounts, cream colored enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, and gilt Louis XV style hands.
CONDITION:
There are a few cracks in the veneer, but no losses. Cast metal ornaments are very good. There is a small repaired break in the signed dial above the 12. Curved beveled glass in the front of the case is good. The movement will need to be secured to the case. The movement is signed by Vincenti as wall as being stamped "H & F / Paris ". This clock last sold for $1300 in September of 2014.
